Travel Grants

Reimbursement-based, limited financial support for student and post-doc is available for their travel through sponsor funds (COMPRES and CDAC). The maximum amount of support will be $500 per person up to 20 applicants. Travel support is available on a first-come first-serve basis and is limited.

The Workshop will provide meals and basic stationaries. The travel reimbursement will only cover the cost of flight, ground transportation, and lodging for non-local participants. All students and post-doc participants are encouraged to apply for the travel grant during registration. The travel grant application will be sorted by the date received and reviewed by the organizing committee. A short recommendation letter must be sent directly from supervisor/advisor in either electronic or printed form for the approval. The new deadline for the travel grant application is: May 7, 2013. To be reimbursed, the attendance must be confirmed by the appearance at the workshop. Foreign students and post-docs will need to provide visa documentation for reimbursement.
